Work History:

July 2008 to present, November 1987 to February 2007 :  Attorney  in private practice in Jackson and Pascagoula, Mississippi. General legal services to individuals and small businesses: family law, real estate, estate planning, personal injury, collections.

March 2007 – June 2008: Director, Mississippi Fair Housing Center; supervise HUD grant funded private enforcement initiative of Mississippi Center for Legal Services providing counseling, legal representation, community education and general enforcement of the Fair Housing Act.

September 2004 to February 2006; Instructor (part-time). AntonelliCollege, Hattiesburg, Mississippi; teaching substantive law courses to students in legal assistant curriculum and professional massage therapy students.

November 1983 to October 1987:  Legislative counsel, Mississippi House of Representatives, Jackson, Mississippi. Research and drafting of  legislative documents; advising members and committees including Insurance, Corrections and Conservation.
